CABS Board Elections
Results: A
tentative CABS Board of Directors’ slate consisting of Toni
Alexander, Jennifer Beggs, Stan Budzynski, Jim Flynn, Steve Forgey,
Dave Lindahl, Denise Lynch, Bill Malone, Jo Phelps, Bill Richards,
and Rob Ward was presented at the annual meeting. This was passed
16 – 0 by the attendees of the annual meeting.
An officer slate consisting
of:
was proposed to the CABS Board of Directors. This proposal was passed by an 11 – 0 vote by the 2010 – 2011 CABS Board of Directors.
Bill Richards volunteered to serve as the Managing Editor. Candice Wilmore volunteered to assist Bill in this position.
Thus, CABS has a new Board of Directors and Officers for the year 2010 -2011.

Eric Clapton’s Crossroads Fest Returns on June 26, 2010 at
Chicago Toyota Park Stadium
Third annual Crossroads Guitar Festival will be held on June 26 at Toyota Park Stadium in Chicago, Illinois. Returning veterans include Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck, Robert Cray, B.B. King, Los Lobos, ZZ Top, Steve Winwood, Sonny Landreth, and Robert Randolph. Debuting at the festival are the Allman Brothers, Bert Jansch, and Keb’ Mo. This year’s festival continues the benefit to the addiction treatment center Crossroads Center in Antigua.
